Watford Palace Theatre to host 'Getting Better at Love' event
4:50pm Monday 19th August 2013 in News
Love will be in the air at Watford Palace Theatre in September for a special initiative aimed at helping people make more of the most evocative four letter word in the dictionary.
The theatre has tied the knot with production company Encounter to stage Getting Better at Love, a series of workshops and an opportunity for the young and old, to come together and make a community film.
Part of the Ideal World season at Watford Palace Theatre, there will be workshops on writing, singing, dance and theatre all exploring the theme of love - why we love, whom we love and the nature of communication in our most important relationships.
Through the workshops a community film will be created exploring the nature of love in an increasingly digitised age.
The workshops run at the theatre from Thursday, September 12. To book a place email Participation@watfordpalacetheatre.co.uk.
The film will show in Watford Palace Theatre at 7pm, on Friday, October. Tickets will be free.
The initiative has been supported by Arts Council funding.
