Children enjoy The Co-operative Childcare's charity summer fun day for Design and Manufacture for Disability
A Watford nursery helped raise more than £100 for two charities by holding a summer fun day.
The Co-operative Childcare, based in Watford Junction, in Station Road, had tombolas, bake sales, face painting and henna tattoos on August 13.
The nursery raised £113 for DEMAND (Design and Manufacture for Disability) and the Teenage Cancer Trust charities.
Sarah Hurn, acting nursery manager, said: "We had lots of fun on the day as it was a beautiful sunny day.
"There were 14 members of staff who came and helped on the day and our parents and children came along to enjoy the activities and spend some money."
