A man has been charged in connection with an alleged rape, which happened in central Watford.
The incident involving a teenage girl is believed to have occurred on the evening of Wednesday, July 31, in Queens Place.
Bamibo Nwani, 27, and from Upper Clapton Road in Hackney, London, was charged with rape and possession of an offensive weapon on August 20 and appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court.
He was remanded in custody until a hearing at St Albans Crown Court on September 3.
