Residents invited to meeting on contentious Bovingdon golf complex revamp plans
The contentious plans to revamp a golf complex in Bovingdon will be discussed at a meeting in the coming weeks.
A planning application to modernise the site has been submitted by Little Hay Golf Complex.
The remodelling would involve 295,000 cubic metres of inert materials, or "clean soils", arriving to the site by heavy goods vehicles over a proposed 18-month period.
Bourne End Village Association are holding a meeting on Tuesday, 10 September in an attempt to enable residents to acquire a full and balanced view of the proposals.
In the first part of the meeting Woodland Environmental, the contractors, will be making a presentation.
Representatives of Hertfordshire County Council and Dacorum Borough Council have been invited.
The meeting will take place at Bourne End Village Hall, London Road at 7.30pm.
