Firefighters called after man gets leg stuck in digger in Bucknalls Lane, Garston
Firefighters were called to garden in Garston after a man got his left trapped in a digger at the weekend.
Crews from Garston Fire Station attended the address in Bucknalls Lane following the accident, which happened while a young man was landscaping with a small digger at around 2.30pm on Saturday.
Watch Commander Chris Merritt said: “The gentleman had gone over a bump and then his leg had gone between the top part and the track. He was only wedged in so it was not anything too serious.
“All we had to do was manoeuvre his leg out. There was someone there with him supporting him. He was quite lucky really as he only had cuts and bruises.”
