Crowds cheer on Harefield Hospital Fun Run racers

In its 32nd year, the fun run started and finished in the grounds of Harefield Hospital, where entrants could run either a one mile or three and a half mile course.

With more than 1,100 entrants, the grounds were packed as hundreds of supporters turned up to cheer on their friends and family on Sunday.
For those who did not want to don their trainers, there was a host of activities available on the day.
There were stalls, an assortment of vintage cards, tug-of-war and lots of other entertainment available.
Special guests Talk Sport’s Mike Parry and Saracens’ rugby player Richard Wigglesworth launched the run and hosted the annual prize giving, raffle and charity auction.
All proceeds from the day will go towards the Harefield Hospital Heart and Lung Appeal, which supports transplant patients.
