Over a thousand visitors are expected to turn out for this year’s OxFest in Oxhey Village Green this weekend.

OxFest will showcase a variety of acts to be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Visitors will be able to enjoy performances from Jamie Cheung, who has lived in Oxhey all his life, as well as a young five-piece band called The Ives. The Ives have been performing all around Hertfordshire for the past year, playing covers and original songs. They are currently working on their first single which they'll be performing at the festival.

There will also be entertainment from Josh Golga with Aunt Barbara and The Machews. Josh Golga is a guitarist, singer and songwriter who has been performing around the country for many years, while OxFest will be the first gig for Aunt Barbara and The Machews.

Other confirmed acts include Isabelle Day, Dani Smithson, Holly Rolf, The Remedies, Hazy Days and Golden Boy.

The festival will run from 2pm until 7.30pm on Saturday, September 7.
