Little Reddings Primary School pupil, Clara-Sabrina Pop, enters Royal Mail’s children’s Christmas stamp competition
A budding young artist from a Bushey school could put her stamp on a Royal Mail design competition.
Clara-Sabrina Pop, a pupil at Little Reddings Primary School, in Harcourt Road, is one of the regional winners in the Royal Mail’s children’s Christmas stamp design competition.
The seven-year-old is one of 140 regional winners from across the UK and will go through to the next stage of the competition.
She is one of 14 in the region shortlisted for the award and at the next stage the top two designs from the region will go through to the final.
In the national final, HRH The Prince of Wales will choose two designs from 24 finalists that will feature on this year’s First and Second Class Christmas stamps.
The Royal Mail received 240,000 entries from children aged four to 11-years-old across the UK in response to the question ‘What does the Christmas season mean to you?’ So far, Clara-Sabrina has won £100 in vouchers and £100 for her school.
