American footballers, Minnesota Vikings, touch down at The Grove Hotel in Watford to train ahead of game
American footballers touched down in the grounds of a Watford hotel today, to showcase the sport ahead of a showpiece event this weekend.
The Grove Hotel will play host to the Minnesota Vikings this week, before their game in the National Football League (NFL) International Series on Sunday.
The Vikings arrived at Gatwick airport yesterday and took part in a "community day" at Wembley Stadium. Players and cheerleaders from the team staged football and cheerleading coaching clinics with local children.
Today the team practiced in the grounds of The Grove Hotel while crowds of media gathered at the sidelines.
The team will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the International Series at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, September 29 at 6pm.
The San Francisco 49ers will also be staying at The Grove ahead of their game at the end of October.
