Annual curry night at The Viceroy Brasserie kicks off Abbots Langley Tough Ten fundraising
With preparations underway for the annual Abbots Langley Tough Ten this weekend, a charity curry night was held in the village last week.
A fundraising curry night was organised to take place on Monday, September 23 at 7.30pm.
Alison Warner, Abbots Langley Tough Ten secretary, said: "Our Annual Curry Night starts our fundraising for the Abbots Langley Tough Ten and was enjoyed by all who attended. The Viceroy Brasserie served us a wonderful three-course meal with many choices and the Fun Quiz got everyone chatting to their neighbours.
"We raised £349 during the evening with many great prizes donated by local shops and businesses. A huge vote of thanks goes to the Viceroy and to everyone who supported this event."
This year’s race marks the 31st Abbots Langley Tough Ten and will take place on Sunday, October 6. There will be 3K, 5K and 10K courses for runners to choose from.
