Watford mayor appeals for sender of mystery picture
Watford's elected mayor has put out an appeal to help find the youngster who sent her a mystery picture of a robin.
Dorothy Thornhill said she was struck by the image which was mailed into her office without a name or address.
She said she intends to use the image on her Christmas cards this year and is keen to find out who’s behind it.
"I think it’s nice," said Mayor Thornhill. "They took the trouble to send it to me and I would like to use it on my Christmas card.
"I am used to getting moans and complaints and suggestions and ideas but this is a bit different and came out of the blue."
