Purcell School pupils show off musical talents at Bushey Museum
Visitors to Bushey Museum were given a unique opportunity to experience art and music over the weekend.
On Saturday musicians from The Purcell School, a local school taking gifted musicians from all over the world, played in the foyer of the museum while spectators observed their artwork.
Hugh Lewis, deputy chair of the Bushey Museum Trust, was impressed at the versatility of the children.
He said: "One imagines the students are at the school just to study music, but they have other talents."
Marion Gee, learning officer at the museum, said: "The day was lovely. We had nearby residents that could hear the music complement us on their performances."
