Get creative in competition to help save water in Three Rivers with Green our Herts campaign
Residents are being encouraged to get creative and take pictures in a campaign to promote water conservation.
Three Rivers District Council have teamed up with Green our Herts, to promote water efficiency to Hertfordshire’s residents. Residents are being asked to take shots of powerful photos which capture the title of ‘Water’.
Up to £75 worth of shopping vouchers are available and the entries will be judged on the creative and effective delivery of the water saving message.
Winning photos will be displayed in a local exhibition and prizes will be up for grabs for the top three entries.
Hertfordshire has one of the highest rates of water consumption in the country, as well as being located in the driest region.
The aim is to reduce water consumption from 162 litres per person a day, to the national average of 150 litres and beyond that to the future vision of 130 litres per person per day. The competition is open to Hertfordshire residents only and the photo must have been taken within Hertfordshire.
Entries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, November 22. For more information, visit www.greenourherts.org.uk
