Kings Langley energy company urges communities to 'make a difference'
A leading renewable energy company based in Kings Langley showed its support for community projects at the Co-op Energy event at the weekend.
At the event on Saturday, RES offered advice and support to communities looking to develop renewable energy projects in their local areas.
RES Advisory, the company’s specialist renewable energy consultancy team, exhibited at the event to inform community groups about making a difference through renewable energy.
Neil Turner, Sales and Marketing Manager for RES Advisory attended the event and said: "It has been fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic and passionate individuals that want to make a difference to their community through renewable energy. There really has never been a better time for ordinary people to start a community renewable energy project.
"It used to be a huge struggle for communities to get projects of any scale off the ground, but now, with the grants and loans available, plus our expertise, communities can do something really ambitious. It takes some serious dedication, but the whole process can be a really positive experience for a community."
