CCTV images of a man police would like to trace in connection with a series of incidents that have taken place in Watford have been released.

The first was an approach by a male to a woman in High Street on Friday, April 26. The second was a report of an assault in the Cassio Road area in the early hours of Sunday, April 28 when a man approached another woman, pushed her and grabbed her by the scruff of the neck.

The latest incident occurred in an alleyway, also in the Cassio Road area, between 1.50am and 2.05am on Wednesday, October 16 when a 20-year-old woman is believed to have been followed by a man from High Street.

The man approached her from behind and allegedly touched her inappropriately. She tried to push him away as the man grabbed her by both arms and shouted at her aggressively. The woman shouted for help and the offender ran off.

Detectives are urgently appealing to the public to help trace the man pictured who may have information about this incident.

DC Adrian Lysak, from the Local Crime Unit in Watford, said: "I am urgently trying to trace the man pictured here. He may have witnessed something or have other information that is vital to our investigation.

"While incidents of this nature are unusual, the victim of this latest incident has understandably been left traumatised by what happened. It is essential that we find the person responsible as soon as possible and identifying the pictured man could be a vital step in doing that.
