Thousands of Christmas lights were turned on at a Radlett house on Sunday to raise money for Leukaemia research.
David Press, 70, of Battlers Green Drive, turned on Christmas lights at his home to a large crowd of parents and children.
The event is in its 10th year and has raised £17,000 to date.
Mr Press, former commander of Radlett Fire Station, said: "We had a brilliant evening. We had the biggest turn out to date with around one hundred people attending.
"I think the event went really well, and it was great to see more children down to see the lights go on.
"Hopefully we’ll raise some money for an important charity."
