Gay escort, Michael Brennan, found guilty of murder of Bushey man Paul Simons

A jury has found a gay escort guilty of murdering a Bushey man in Essex.

Michael Brennan, 23, of The Green, Melbourne, has been convicted of killing Paul Simons at the conclusion of an eight day trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Mr Simons, 54, of Prospect Close, was found stabbed to death in a flat in Chelmsford in May.

A verdict of 10-2 jurors was delivered today and Brennan is due to be sentenced on Thursday.
