Residents who may be spending Christmas alone are being encouraged to take part in community activities.
HertsHelp is run by Hertfordshire County Council and is a network of community organisations working together.
It is also running the Keep Warm, Stay Well scheme again this year, which offers support to vulnerable residents who are struggling to stay warm in their homes or pay their fuel bills.
Last year more than 10,000 residents were helped by the scheme. If you, or someone you know would like to know what opportunities there are in your area to join others, either socially or as a volunteer this Christmas, or if you know someone vulnerable who needs help to stay warm in their home, call HertsHelp on 0300 123 4044.
