Pensioners’ satisfaction with NHS care continues to be determined by where they live, new research of Britain’s retirees’ shows.
Happiness with levels of NHS care varies by as much as 20% between some regions – with the gap widest between over 65s in Wales and the West Midlands.
The Stannah Silver Census questioned 1,000 adults over 65, to provide a finger on the pulse of an often overlooked segment of British society.
Overall 81 per cent of pensioners said they are “happy with the quality of care I receive from the NHS” and 86 per cent agree the “NHS is a great institution and I am proud of it”.
