Flags are being flown at half mast in Hertfordshire today following the death of Nelson Mandela.
Hertfordshire County Council is flying the union flag half mast at all the council buildings and fire stations to commemorate South Africa’s first black president, who died last night at the age of 95.
The flag will be at half mast from 8am until 8pm tonight.
