A Radlett author is hoping to write a book to raise thousands of pounds to help a four-year-old boy walk.

Marion Hertz, who raised £2,000 for charity with her last book, read about Noah Collins in last week’s Watford Observer.

Mrs Hertz said: "The first book did so well for charity I decided I wanted to do another, but this time concentrate on just one charity that was in need of support.

"I saw Noah’s story in the paper and thought it would be the perfect cause to raise money for."

Four-year-old Noah Collins was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was a baby, and he may need a wheelchair permanently when he is older.

His family are campaigning to raise £80,000 for an operation to help him walk.

Mrs Hertz continued: "I hope to have the book ready for Christmas next year, and hope to help this inspiring local child."
