Teen, Reece Cronk, charged with Carpenders Park meat theft

A teenager has admitted stealing meat from a Carpenders Park shop.

The Reece Cronk appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court today, charged with the shoplifting offence after some meat was stolen from the Co-Operative, in The Parade, on November 26.

The 19-year-old, of Whitchurch Avenue, in Edgware, was released on unconditional bail and is due to appear back in court for sentencing on January 9.

It probably wasn't hunger. Meat has become expensive and is a commodity that is easily sold on to fund drug habits. I would have thought that like most crime that this was the motivation.
