The true spirit of Christmas arrived at Leavesden Park last week when staff dug deep to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
Staff from the companies on the business park raised £264 for the Alzheimer’s Society and enjoyed a Christmas Fair and carols from Stanborough Primary School last Thursday.
The Christmas Fair brought a great opportunity to do a spot of Christmas shopping with stalls from a range of companies, including wonderful handmade sweets from Sweet as a Button, and homeware gifts from Over the Moon.
A raffle organised for the Alzheimer’s Society, which is based at Leavesden Park, which offered prizes donated by companies on the park, raised £225.
The winner was Lesley Close of Semcon, whose prize was a Dimplex Electric Stove. Other prizes included shopping vouchers, Harry Potter Tour Tickets for a family, flowers, wine and a sweet tree.
Karen Yadav, Estate Administrator, said: "Everyone had a fun time browsing and shopping and we are most grateful to those occupiers who donated prizes for our raffle."
