An inventor from Bushey has designed a novel face-recognition iPhone and iPad security app that is being sold on iTunes.
Jeremy Rose has invented FaceCrypt, which requires users to take a ‘selfie’ to secure their vital data.
The app can be used to store a number of apps including Facebook, Amazon, Itunes, Paypal and more.
Mr Rose, from Hartsbourne Park in Bushey Heath, said: "There is way too much important information on our iPhones and iPads to be left unprotected, or poorly protected.
"Losing this information would be disastrous to our personal and professional life."
The app was launched on November 24.
