An appeal lodged against Hertsmere Borough Council’s decision to refuse the addition of a second storey bungalow in The Warren, Radlett has been rejected.
The appeal hearing was held on December 12, where the council said they refused the appeal because of the character and appearance of the area and the living conditions of surrounding houses that would lose light.
The original plan, lodged by Richard Mahoney, was to increase the bungalow by around 2.4m at the ridge ad about 3.7m at the attic to create a first floor.
