A new mini bus was presented to a Watford grammar school at a special ceremony yesterday.

Watford Grammar School for Boys was given the 15-seater Citroen Relay by the West Herts Charity Trust.

Headteacher, Martin Post, said: "Christmas has arrived early for us this year.

"I would like to thank West Herts Charity Trust and Friends of WBGS for their generous support.

"This minibus will make a real difference to our students and to the many community partners we support throughout the year."

The vehicle will be used to take students to and from events and educational visits.

School staff, committee members of the Friends of WBGS and representatives from the Trust attended the event.

This is 57th vehicle the Trust has handed over to schools or charities in the area.

The Friends of WBGS raised £7,500 towards the cost of the bus.
