A reduced train service will be running from Watford Junction, Bushey and Kings Langley stations over the Christmas and New Year’s period.
London Midland has said will start to run a reduced service on its line to London Eustion from 1pm on Christmas Eve.
There will then be no trains running on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
London Midland’s commercial director Richard Brooks said: "We want everyone to have a safe and comfortable journey this Christmas.
"One of the best ways to achieve this is to plan well ahead as all train operators amend their timetables over the festive period.
"This is to reflect the reduction in demand for services and major engineering works, including the redevelopment of Birmingham New Street station."
