Oxhey Conservative Club in Oxhey Village opened its doors for a Christmas Coffee Morning in aid of the Peace Hospice on Saturday morning.
About 60 people attended the event and helped raise £385 for the charity.
Club vice president Margaret Spruce, who is also secretary of the club's fundraising group, said "The morning was very successful and well attended. Members always dig deep in aid of charity and it was no different this time around."
The club continues to support the Peace Hospice and a cheque for £1,000, the majority of which was raised by club members over the past year, is shortly to be presented to the Peace Hospice.
On January 1, the club will change its name to Oxhey Village Club, becoming a non-political private members' social club, open to the wider community.
