Two men and two teenagers have been arrested for drug crimes in North Watford.

Hertfordshire Constabulary found drugs and cash on Wednesday when officers searched two properties in Brett Place at about 10am.

Officers from Operation Scorpion, Intervention, the Special Constabulary and the dog unit also assisted with the arrest and search.

A Watford 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and a Proceeds of Crime Act offence. He has been released on police bail.

A 24-year-old man, a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, all from Watford, were arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply. They have been released on police bail.

North Watford police constable, Mohamed Huzair, said: "These warrants follow a lengthy investigation into suspected drugs supply in the North Watford area. "One of our local priorities is tackling drugs in North Watford and this activity forms part of our drive to reduce drug related crime.

"I would urge anyone who has suspicions about drug dealing in their community to contact police with information, so we can take action."
