Residents of Dacorum are being offered the chance to dispose of their real Christmas trees at one of three tree chipping sites this January.
Dacorum Borough Council has organised the scheme for 17 years and the chippings will be recycled for use as plant bedding for local gardens.
Residents can bring their real Christmas trees to Tring Garden Centre, Water Lane Car Park in Berkhamsted or Dacorum Borough Council’s Cupid Green Depot in Hemel Hempstead on Sunday, January 5, 2014.
