In September firefighters at Watford station walked out for a strike about pension reforms, and the annual Push 4 Peace event took place in Cassiobury Park.
October
Edge Grove School pupils were treated to a cooking lesson from celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo in October.
November
November held two festivals of light, with the annual fireworks display for Guy Fawke’s Night taking place in Cassiobury Park, and Diwali celebrations in Bushey.
December
In December the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne visited Morrisons and helped decorate a cake.
