Once again Top class reporting
your headline is a joke
your actual article is so poorly wrote
it is not funny where is the substance

what right have you got to sit at home
make stuff up and then publish it

come on make up a head line that
actually has something to do with the article
you are writing

What a load of rubbish. The police didn't turn up for ages by which point all the hooligans had legged it. Oh and some popped back into the pub to finish their drinks!

'article was so poorly wrote' 'head line' Must be Christmas because that sounds like a script from something like what Ernie Wise would write. Quality

So Adam, how did they disperse the disorderly fans if they had already left before officers arrived?.

Adam, are you ****?

What happened was this, some West London herberts turned up at the Estcourt shouted abuse and broke some bottles. Some fat men from the pub responded in kind and ambled after the original herberts as far as Cross Street.

I doubt anyone actually threw a punch although, they did break a lot of glass.

Basically tag in Stone Island jumpers.

The reporting on this is pathetic and inaccurate, but whether it's more pathetic than the general tom tom grapevine where this was a bloodbath and people got a good hiding is questionable.

I wasn't there so cannot comment on what happened but agree that this is poor journalism. You can't even get the name of the pub right, it was the Estcourt Tavern not the Estcourt Arms.

To be fair, they did get it right in the report; there wasn't room for Tavern in the headline.

Just glad it wasn't the Red and Yellow Lion, but is that at death's door anyway? Match day = no ale and no Guinness. Another Bassini receivership?

They changed the report not the headline after we pointed this out to them.

Tavern or Arms?

Make your mind up.

If I was the owner of the Estcourt Arms, I'd be understandably aggrieved and demand an apology and an amendment to the article.

And Binnie is a 'Senior' reporter?

*couldn't make this up*
*or actually 'did' as this report indicates*
