A main road was closed off in Watford after a car crash last night.

Police were called to the accident between a black Audi A3 and blue Volkswagen Passat in Hempstead Road, between the junctions with Stratford Way and Langley Way at 6.15pm.

The road was then closed at around 6.45pm at the request of paramedics and reopened around 7.15pm.

The driver of the Volkswagen was taken to hospital with what were described as minor injuries.

I never said it was. The point I am making is that the whole 20s Plenty argument is to stop the alleged 'carnage' on the roads of Watford. Whereas if you read the reports of all the accidents, they actually happen on roads that would not be covered by the proposal. All that money (yours and mine Council tax) they intend to spend on it. Better spent elsewhere?
