Residential Development Surveyor Derek Bromley marks 30 years with Kings Langley's Bidwells property consultancy
Residential Development Surveyor Derek Bromley marks 30 years working at Bidwells property consultancy in Kings Langley this month.
He started working in 1975 at Batty Stevens Good of north London as a trainee surveyor before moving on to work for the District Valuer and Valuation office, in several locations, for seven years before joining Faulkners in 1983.
He qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1983 and was elected to FRICS (Federation of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) in 1987.
Derek isn't the only long serving member of Bidwells, another Kings Langley colleague has just reached 25 years.
Matthew Carter started in 1988 and later became Head of Property Management.
Qualified as a rural practice surveyor, Matthew heads a team which manage a number of national property portfolios for various corporate clients, including property developers, mineral companies and waste operators, as well as private clients and charities.
Bidwells partner Edward Briggs said: "It's really inspiring to have such longevity within Bidwells, having colleagues who have years of experience and knowledge.
"They are a great source of help for all, especially the graduates joining us."
Established more than 170 years ago, Bidwells is one of the UK's leading property consultancies employing almost 500 people in 12 offices across England and Scotland.
