The A41 has been closed after a crash involving "several" cars.

Police were called to the incident near the junction with the M25 motorway at 12.20pm.

It is thought at least three cars were involved in the smash. The road has been closed between Hemel and the M25.

More to follow.

There are two very obvious aquaplane risks on that stretch (a stream more or less runs across that road when it rains hard) - i wonder if they had anything to do with it?

Just one of those dangers the highways agency likes to ignore until someone is killed.?
