Firefighters helped an elderly woman get out of her Croxley Green house yesterday afternoon.

A crew from Rickmansworth received the call at 4.52pm after reports that the lady was locked in her Gonville Avenue house.

The woman could not get out of her house because she had got her key stuck in the lock.

Firefighters, who scaled the back fence and entered the property through the back door, were able to remove the key from the door.
