Free waste bags to tackle dog mess in Kings Langley

Dog owners in Kings Langley are being offered free waste bags by the parish council in an attempt to make the village a "poop free zone".

Residents can pick up their free dog bags from the Kings Langley parish council offices, in Charter Court, between 9.30am and 12.30pm.

The offer is part of an initiative to reduce dog waste in the village.

How is it free, unless the bags are being donated by the bag company, if KLPC are offering the bags and then charging through precept the residents are already paying for them.

I tried this at my own expense and it doesn't work. I put my dog in a bin liner and he just wouldn't go in it. Didn't matter how long I waited. I had to let him out after 1/2 hour.
