Fire crews rescue car from flooded Chorleywood street
Firefighters were called to Chorleywood after a car became stuck in flood water this morning.
A crew from Rickmansworth and a crew from Buckinghamshire tended to the stranded car in Green Street after being called at 9.26am.
Flood water had reached as high as the black Audi’s windows.
Buckinghamshire firefighters used rescue equipment to gain access to the car.
Police flood warnings are currently in place on Green Street and firefighters are urging people not to ignore the signs.
