Comedian Harry Enfield will be a special guest at a Valentine’s dinner which is set to raise money for the Harefield Hospital Heart and Lung Appeal.

The appeal aims to buy specialist organ transporting equipment, so that more seriously ill patients can get the heart or lung transplant they need.

The event has been organised by Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital NHS Trust and it will be held on Saturday, February 15, at the Bellhouse Hotel in Beaconsfield.

The evening will include three course meal, live music, an auction and raffle.

Commenting on his attendance, the comedian said: "I'm thrilled to have been invited to the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity's Valentine's Dinner.

"I know that Harefield Hospital does amazing work for people suffering from heart and lung disease and it's great to know that the money raised from the evening will be funding new equipment, so that the hospital can save even more lives.

"I'm very proud to be supporting the charity and its fundraising efforts."

Tickets for the evening, costing £120 per couple, are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 01895 828820.
