The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is looking to set up volunteer fundraising groups across Hertfordshire to help support its work for local blind and partially sighted people.

The charity would like people to form fundraising groups and to go out into their local communities to raise funds for people with sight loss.

Carol McKinlay, Area Fundraising Manager for RNIB in Hertfordshire, said: "If one of your New Year's resolutions was to try something different in 2014, why not give volunteering a go?

"It's a great way to meet new people and to do something very beneficial for your local community as well as having lots of fun. You don't need any previous fundraising experience just lots of enthusiasm and passion to raise money for local blind and partially sighted adults and children across Hertfordshire."
