Residents urged to give blood for World Cancer Day
People in south west Hertfordshire are being urged to give blood in the coming weeks as part of an NHS drive.
The health service is marking World Cancer Day on Wednesday, February 4 by asking people to donate for transfusions, which are a vital part of cancer treatment.
Donation sessions will be held at the Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett on Tuesday, February 4 and in Leavesden Road Baptist Church, Leavesden Road, Watford, on Wednesday, February 5.
The sessions at both venues will be held between 1pm and 3pm and then between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
