A police helicopter and search dogs helped locate a man following a burglary in Northwood yesterday.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a house in St Mary’s Avenue was broken into between 9.50am and 11.30am.
Police were called at 11.37am after items, including an ipad, were stolen from the property.
A helicopter and search dogs helped police trace the man to Carpenders Park Station, where he is reported to have ran down the track.
He was later arrested in Colburn Avenue, in Hatchend, at 12.46pm.
The man remains in custody at this time.
