If you are under the impression that there’s a slight nip in the air, you’re perfectly right.
Mr N. B. Choksey, of Darton's, Watford Fields Meteorological Instrument Manufacturers, says that on Wednesday night there were 19 degrees of frost, the temperature being 12 degrees Fahrenheit.
This is the lowest since February 1948. A “cheering” East wind has been blowing to add to the public’s enjoyment, and there’s probably snow on the way!
