A new mental health facility has opened in Watford to give patients a "modern, safe and pleasant" setting for the service.
Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust has opened Colne House in Upton Road as part of a new shake-up of mental health services in the county.
The new facility will provide a base for the area’s teams and is part of a drive to treat more patients at home.
Ian Scammell, service line lead for community services in the south west, said: "Colne House is a significant step forward in the provision of care and treatment for HPFT service users and their families in south west of the county. It will provide a modern, safe and pleasant setting for service users with excellent facilities for the provision of a range of different treatments and therapies."
Colne House will be open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with some services operating outside of these times.
