Grant to help encourage children's reading
An initiative to get more Chorleywood children reading and writing has received a council cash grant.
Hertfordshire County Council has donated £2,500 to the Chorleywood Children’s Literary Festival to support its work sending authors into local schools and running a junior writing competition.
The money has come from the council’s locality budget.
