Watford Observer: Long queues after Rickmansworth Road crash Long queues after Rickmansworth Road crash

There are long queues in Watford this morning after a crash in Rickmansworth Road.

The road is blocked at the Hagden Lane junction after a car and motorbike crashed at 7.41am.

The motorcyclist was injured and has been taken to Watford General Hospital.

Both vehicles will have to be towed away.

This is not a nice start to the morning, but with the road rage caused by roadworks, excessive traffice due to the business park and amazingly excessive housing in this small area, it is inevitable that this will happen. I hope the motorcyclist is OK.

Again, probably not a proposed 20's Plenty route. Where are all these crashes that the plan is designed to prevent? Has anyone seen any reported in roads that would be covered by it?

In my opinion motorcyclists at that junction are quite impatient, and I've seen on many occasions, them by passing the traffic expecting cars traveling in the opposite direction to move.
I hope I'm wrong and all involved are ok.
