Bell ringers' fundraising effort contributes £2,400 to hospice
A bell ringing group presented a Northwood hospice with a cheque for £2,400 last week.
The money is an accumulation of the Ruislip Belles and Beaux bellringing group’s fundraising efforts throughout 2013, which was in aid of the Michael Sobell Hospice, in Mount Vernon Hospital.
Patients at the hospice were also treated to a performance from the group.
Jean Seymour, trustee for Michael Sobell Hospice, said: "This is an amazing amount of money for a small group to raise and we are very grateful for their ongoing support and generosity."
