A man was left with a head injury following a large brawl at a South Oxhey pub at the weekend.

Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to reports of a large disturbance at The Ox pub in Bridlington Road at around 11.20pm on Friday.

Reports to the police said there was around 100 people in the pub and that glasses had been thrown in the fracas, which was happening inside and outside the premises.

When officers arrived they found a 26-year-old man who was injured and later treated by paramedics.

No arrests have been made in connection with the disturbance and police said enquiries are ongoing.
