Military wives collect donations from 'generous' Bushey fundraiser
Three members of the North London Military Wives Choir were in Bushey last week to pick up donations of £600.
Over 80 people attended the annual Christmas Quiz Night Dinner at The Three Crowns in Bushey Heath in December to raise money for the choir.
Rachael Carter from the choir said: "We were told to come and sing for our supper and were delighted with the warmth of the reception we received and the generosity of our fellow locals.
The choir are one of 80 Military Wives Choirs throughout the UK who took their inspiration from Choirmaster Gareth Malone following the enormous success of the Number one single 'Wherever You Are', which raised over half a million pounds for SSAFA and The Royal British Legion.
