Hundreds of students took part in a series of half-day workshops at a Northwood synagogue this week to learn about Holocaust Memorial Day.
Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue, in Oakland Gate, has been running a series of workshops this week to educate pupils about the Holocaust.
The events were organised to mark the national day of remembrance for the victims of the atrocity and of other genocides.
Pupils from across Hertfordshire and neighbouring boroughs had the chance to meet a Holocaust survivor, hear their testimony and work in groups to explore the relationship between the past and key issues facing the world today, such as bullying and discrimination.
